Fishing Lake

Desert Breeze Park, in the southeastern corner of Chandler, features a small palm tree-lined park lake that is stocked with catfish and trout by AZGFD. You can fish on the bank and from platforms encircling the lake.

The pond is most popular in the spring and fall when catfish are planted, and then trout show up a couple of times during winter. The pond is also home to warm-water resident species like largemouth bass and bluegill, according to the AZGFD.

A good trail encircles the pond and provides easy bank fishing access. You can also cross over to a larger island that might provide a shaded spot for sunfish.
